Can anyone recommend a store that carries a good selection of plus-sized gowns for mothers? Everywhere I go they tell me they can order a dress for me, but from the few samples I've been able to find close to my size, I've discovered that it's very important to try a dress on. You just can't tell how it's going to look on you from a photo on a website. But, most stores have few, if any, samples in larger sizes. And of course, if you special order the dress, you're stuck with it whether you like it or not.
I'm happy to drive a few hours if there's anywhere you could recommend. If you're a store owner, I can provide the style numbers of the dresses on my favourites list so you can check if you have any in my size.
I would really appreciate any help you can provide. My son's wedding is in January so I've got about a month or so to find a dress if I'm going to order one. Thanks!
