We have Aug 12th picked out but I'm not sure that will be it. We have done nothing as far as planning goes. It's not easy. Everyone seems to want to get their hands in the jar. Moms etc...

I know but thats what makes it so fun, they can all help but we sat everyone down and said it ultimatly comes down to our decision. Even though they are helping out signficantly, its our wedding and therefore our rules.

It is tough coming up with the $$$ to do what you want especially without any help. You could always get married somehere else LAs Vegas/Beach/??? but if you want the whole church thing this is not possible. Good luck :D

July or August of 2007, probably....very hard to get booked right now, most reception halls at parks, golf clubs, beaches, etc are closed right now....

yeah, I live in Michigan so it's hard to get out and even look at what sites might look like during the middle of summer cuz everything looks like crap during the winter, and then some places aren't open in the winter, not even receiving phone calls and stuff.....whatever, we're starting to make a dent in the list of places we're considering, we're trying to avoid the in-house cantering requirements that some places might have...annnnyways...I have this nasty thought that I may just break down and say "to hell with it, I'll just have it in a church"....

Don't give in on the perfect wedding flashygirl! There are ways around (or through) that whole catering business. Some times it is more expensive to hire outside catering! One idea is to only serve snacks instead of a meal. People will still be able to nibble on goodies while waiting for cake and the bouquet. Cake, punch, nuts and mints are perfectly acceptable for an afternoon or late night wedding. Happy looking!

Whoops heh....

We've decided on Feb 13th 2008. When we're both 21. He's the one who picked out the date, I believe for the mere reason if he's stupid enough to forget it, he'll have another day to make up for it lol.

It's going to be small, just close family and friends. :)

Awesome, we will share something in common. My wedding date was September 9th, 1995.

Just don't plan on going to the Carribean for your honeymoon. Ours ended 3 days early because of an incoming Hurricane :-(

Otherwise the weather was fantastic and the guest really enjoyed the date.
