i know it keeps saying you get a free veil and shoes with the purchase of any maggie sottero gown (which i think is fabulous!) but its hard to see the veils properly in the pics, any ideas on how to make sure the veil will go with the dress? iv narrowed it down to 6 dresses, havent quite decided yet!!! they are ashanti, odessa, jadore, ophelia... and 2 more of a similar style but i cant remeber the names!!

Hi there-you should always have your veil end at a natural stopping point on your body and the gown: shoulders, waist or at least 6" past the gown's train. Fingertip length veils tend to be the least flattering, competing with the lines of the gown, and widening your hips.

The long veils tend to look the best! Don't worry, they won't cover up your gown. They don't get in the way because your train is there already, they have no lines to detract from the gown, and you can have them detachable for your reception (and you can have a reception veil that is waist length if you desire).

You should of course match the color to your gown. The edging should be complimentary as well, and can often accent the gown. You can also add embellishments if you desire and they don't detract from the gown. The number of layers is also personal preference; however, the fewer layers you have the more your gown will show through.

Don't forget a fabulous headpiece! The train is in only a few photos, but your face is in all of them. I suggest having it on a seperate comb so that you can remove the veil if you desire and still keep the headpiece in. This will keep in line with the formality of the occasion as well as your gown.

Good luck!

Can someone give me a little advice on what Veil would go nice with Maggie's dress style is "CONNIE"

The dress has crystals and I think the veil should too! I would like it to be long to the ground as I'm being married in the Caribbean.

What do you think????
